AWC’s first ever federal legislative policy issues survey is underway

The focus of this survey is federal policy and how it impacts cities in our state. The questions in the survey mirror the seven National League of Cities policy and steering committee subject areas. Respondents may provide detailed comments about national policies not covered by one of the NLC policy committees, such as national defense. The survey also includes questions regarding current impacts of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Survey results will help the AWC Federal Legislative Committee establish priorities for the federal legislative agenda.

The Monday, August 17, 2009 deadline has been extended to Monday, August 31, 2009. Please let us know your thoughts about federal issues important to cities in our state. To begin taking the survey click here.
