FFY05 Competitive Training Grants Program

Applications due April 8, 2005, 8 pm EST

This is a nationally-competitive grant program which will provide funding for national scope training initiatives that further ODP's mission of preparing the nation to prevent, deter, respond to and recover from incidents of terrorism involving weapons of mass destruction.

Initial applications (concept papers) are due directly to ODP via their Grants Management System (GMS) website no later than 8:00pm EST on April 8, 2005. For exact concept paper requirements, please see www.ojp.usdoj.gov/odp/docs/fy05ctgp.pdf. Applicants are strongly encouraged to log into the GMS website prior to the application date and submit applications prior to the 8th to avoid any technical submission problems.

ODP will assemble a panel of peer reviewers who will evaluate each concept paper and based on their recommendations, ODP will invite authors of selected concept papers to submit full proposals. Award amounts will depend on the number of projects selected to submit full proposals.

If you have questions regarding the grant program, please contact ODP's Centralized Scheduling and Information Desk at 1-800-368-6498 or visit www.ojp.usdoj.gov/odp/training_ctgp.htm.
