Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) To Include EMS
Application period is tentatively scheduled for March 7 to April 8
The Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program is very similar to last year, except that Congress has directed the program office to award a limited number of grants to Emergency Medical Service (EMS) organizations that are not affiliated with a fire department. The Program will be providing applicant workshops prior to the March 7/April 8 dates. The initial workshop schedule can be found on the website. They advise interested parties to check the website often as the schedule will change. View the schedule, identify regional contacts and their phone numbers, and find program information on the web site. In addition, plans are to provide an on-line application tutorial, similar to last year.
